Privacy Policy – Billion Growth Circle

1. Who we are
Billion Growth Circle ("BGC", "we", "us") is run by Neeraj Kapoor and is based in Mumbai, Maharashtra, India. We offer programmes, masterclasses and diagnostic tools for family businesses. This policy covers billion-growth-circle.com, start.billion-growth-circle.com (the BGC Growth Intelligence Engine / growth self-check), billiongrowthcircle.com (our community and checkout), and our Meta (Facebook and Instagram) ads and lead forms.
Under India's Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 ("DPDP Act"), Billion Growth Circle is the Data Fiduciary for the personal data described here.
2. What we collect
Details you give us: your name, phone (including WhatsApp) number, email, and business details you provide when you register for a masterclass, complete the self-check, fill in a Meta lead form, make a purchase, or contact us.
Self-check answers: your answers and the result or score band.
Payment details: these are handled by our checkout and payment providers. We do not see or store your full card or UPI details.
Usage and device data: pages viewed, buttons clicked, scroll depth, referring site, campaign tags (UTM), device type, browser, IP address and approximate location, collected through cookies, the Meta pixel and analytics tools.
3. Meta lead forms
If you submit a lead form in one of our Facebook or Instagram ads, Meta passes us the details you submitted, such as your name, phone, email and answers to the form's questions. We use them only for the purposes in section 5. Meta's own handling of your data is covered by Meta's Privacy Policy (facebook.com/privacy/policy).
4. Meta pixel and Conversions API (server-side tracking)
Our websites use the Meta pixel, which uses cookies to send Meta events such as page views, registrations and self-check completion. We may also use Meta's Conversions API, which sends the same kind of events from our servers to Meta. Where contact details (email, phone) are sent this way, they are hashed (scrambled) before sending. Meta uses this information to measure our ads, show them to relevant people and build audiences, such as people similar to those who registered.
You can control this by:
blocking or clearing cookies in your browser;
changing your ad settings in Facebook or Instagram (Accounts Centre → Ad preferences);
writing to us (section 10) to ask us to stop sending your data to Meta.
We also use analytics tools to understand how our websites are used.
5. How we use your data
To register you for masterclasses and events and send you joining links, reminders and recordings.
To give you your self-check result and recommend relevant resources.
To contact you about BGC programmes you have shown interest in (see section 6).
To process purchases and give you access to what you bought.
To measure and improve our ads and websites.
To meet legal obligations.
We do not sell your personal data.
6. How we contact you
We may contact you by WhatsApp, phone call and email about a masterclass you registered for, your self-check result, or BGC programmes. You can opt out at any time: reply "STOP" on WhatsApp, tell the caller, use the unsubscribe link in our emails, or write to neeraj@billion-growth-circle.com. Opting out of marketing does not stop essential messages about something you have bought or registered for.
7. Legal basis (DPDP Act)
We process your personal data based on the consent you give when you submit a form, and for legitimate uses permitted under the DPDP Act, such as data you have voluntarily provided for a specified purpose or processing needed to meet legal requirements. You may withdraw your consent at any time (see section 9). Withdrawing does not affect processing that happened before.
8. Who we share data with
We share personal data only with trusted service providers who help us run BGC, such as providers of advertising (including Meta), website hosting and databases, checkout and payments, analytics, email, and WhatsApp and calling services. They may use it only to provide their services to us and must protect it. We may also share data with government authorities where the law requires it.
Some service providers may store data outside India. We transfer data only as allowed under the DPDP Act.
9. Your rights
Under the DPDP Act you can:
ask what personal data we hold about you and how we use it;
ask us to correct, complete or update it;
ask us to erase it;
withdraw your consent;
nominate another person to exercise these rights if you die or become unable to;
raise a grievance with us and, if not resolved, with the Data Protection Board of India.

11. How long we keep data
We keep registration, lead and self-check data for 3 years after our last contact with you, then delete it, or sooner if you ask us to. Purchase records may be kept for longer where tax or other laws require it.
12. Security
We use reasonable security safeguards, such as access controls and encrypted connections (HTTPS). No system is perfectly secure. If a personal data breach affects you, we will inform you and the Data Protection Board as the DPDP Act requires.
13. Children
Our services are meant for business owners and not for anyone under 18. We do not knowingly collect children's personal data.
14. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. The "Last updated" date at the top shows the current version.
